AD300D is a woven-glass PTFE antenna laminate with a moderate dielectric constant. It can help balance the physical size of radiating structures with low-loss feed requirements. The family includes multiple documented dielectric constructions, so this record uses the current base-product sheet's 2.97 process and 2.94 Design Dk observation.

Typical reported values are not a purchase specification. Process Dk, design Dk and values measured at different frequencies are not interchangeable.
Selection and design notes
- Use it when the selected antenna geometry benefits from a Dk near three and the fabricator supports antenna-grade PTFE. Compare the actual feedline dimensions, not just a family average, with AD255C or AD350A.
- Where a supplier proposes a 3.03 variant, request its matching Design Dk and construction details. The alternate value must not be combined with the base sheet's 2.94 design observation without support.
Thickness and copper options
The selector lists 30, 40, 60 and 120 mil examples. Match electrical data to the actual thickness and ordered dielectric variant.
ED, reverse-treated and IM copper constructions must be identified separately in a PIM or insertion-loss comparison.
Fabrication considerations
- Keep core thickness, copper treatment and dimensional orientation in the build specification. PIM debugging should include joints and contamination as well as the laminate, because a material change cannot correct every nonlinear contact in an antenna feed.
Application fit
- Infrastructure antenna feeds
- Printed radiators
- Moderate-Dk antenna boards
Limits and substitution checks
- The selector tool and IM sheet expose additional Dk variants that the current base table summarizes differently. The recorded scalar is tied to that specific base-sheet observation. Use the dedicated AD300D-IM record for IM copper rather than inheriting all base-grade properties automatically.
