Method and limitations

The planner adds the entered thickness of each copper and dielectric row, preserving millimetre units. Symmetry checks compare paired layer positions and labels. It does not calculate pressing behavior, resin flow, impedance or electromagnetic coupling. A text export is a construction brief for discussion, not an approved fabrication drawing.

Using the result

Record dielectric and copper thickness separately. A geometry sketch does not establish lamination compatibility, pressed bondply thickness or impedance. Send the completed brief to the fabricator to confirm available constructions, manufacturing tolerances and the final coupon requirements.

From a calculation to a released design

Keep the input assumptions with the result. Recalculate when the ordered material, dielectric height, copper or operating conditions change. Confirm the final construction with the fabricator and use field simulation or measurement wherever the simplified model omits an important effect.

See the controlled-impedance guide and material selection workflow for the next checks.
